I never hear people talk about the pain associated with the healing process, but it seems to me that having the breast's shape changed would be a bit uncomfortable.  Add in the doctor's squeezing in the silicone pillow and thereto be some pain!

Is the pain really bad?  Do they give you good pain medications?

I haven't experienced it since I haven't been operated yet. Though I had some friends said the pains is like a painful itch inside, so irritating.

no pain at all..that is according to my assumption...since i am sure the surgeon had injected and anesthesia before doing so..

Wow! That was comforting benny. I don't know any of my friends who have been operated so I don't have any ideas.

On that concern, it is part of the doctor's procedure to look beyond the operation period. Hence, some pain relievers would be inluded in the take-home kit for you to apply at yourself or do yourself at home.

We had to take pick up my mother in law from the airport 2 hours away plus we stopped and went shopping and fed my son bottles so i didn't nurse. I was hurting! Our whole schedule was off. The only way it got the engorged feeling to go away was by nursing my son and then pumping after wards, i spent like a whole day or so doing that and they finally got back to normal. If you can that's what i would recommend
