It will take some most women time to save for the first implants.

Can medical savings accounts be used for elective surgeries like this?

maybe not..cause its not an emergency case, it is something a person can chose to do or not..

Well what is the point of having a medical savings account?

As far as I know they aren't for emergencies but for those treatments that aren't covered by regular medical insurance, like deductibles.

i agree with you on that..it takes time to save..actually in our country i have no knowledge of a medical insurance accounts..we have only what we called here as Phil health..which is of course intended for any medical emergencies or if been hospitalized then this insurance will be used..however i haven't tried using this kind of insurance on enhancement purposes..

medical insurance on enhancements as like that?... not really familiar with insurances...but if its available then maybe i had to join and become a member for my future plans on my enhancements surgery..

yes, definitely. That's part of the scope where you can use your medical savings account.

ohh i see...medical savings is different from any regular medical insurances deducted from our salary..yeah i guess so..if the savings is enough to cover the cost..

what i know is that, for surgeries which are in the nature of 'emergency' or came as a result of an accident, a medical savings acount may be used in all types and in all circumstances. However, to those which are not that 'emergency' like enhancements, one is required to have deposited for a fixed number of periods before she shall be entitled to its benefits.

if you mean by medical savings as a personal savings by an individual..then i guess it can be use..if you are really decisive and have goals to achieve what you wish for yes..but i guess it will takes years..and just hope that the intensity for doing it will not diminish as time passes..actually i am talking with my own personal experienced..

Your doctor has to diagnose you as obese, using the medical definition that is defined by your BMI or Body Mass Index. If he diagnoses you as such, you can deduct the cost of any weight loss program as an itemized medical deduction, and any itemizable medical deduction can be paid for with HSA money (but not then also deducted - one or the other).

Paying a gym membership may be a stretch of the definition of a "weight loss program" however. That usually means weight watchers fees or similar program.
